Dream Kitchens

September 1, 2009

I’m a completely different cook when I’m in a beautifully designed kitchen.  Our place has a stunning kitchen and I find that everything I’m cooking comes to the table looking as if I’m styling it for a shoot!  Plus, all of my spices, salts, oils and kitchen gadgets are all organized and within easy reach.  This makes me a much more relaxed cook.

I’m far more inspired to try out new foods because I have the space to roll out doughs, or have more ingredients out to prep or even just having people hang out in the kitchen.  Maybe a beer or a glass of wine, some olives and friends.  Nothing in my mind gets much better than that.  So here is a collection of kitchens that evoke all of this.  Enjoy!

Absolutely LOVE the second kitchen – great mix of modern and vintage!

Beautiful kitchens. It’s difficult to choose which ones I really like. But I like the second and seventh photo. I think I would be more inspired to cook most especially if there’s a great view outside your window.
